About MEDUTECH

History of MEDUTECH is closely connected with GATEMA company. In 2013 Apollon joins the company structure as one of its branches, focusing on development and production of medical audiovisual systems. After transformation of Gatema into a holding structure GATEMA MEDICAL is established in 2020 as a separate business entity with its own product portfolio. In May 2023 the company becomes fully independent, leaving the holding structure and undergoing the process of rebranding and visual identity change. Separating from Gatema allows the company to operate with greater autonomy and flexibility. The newly established brand Medutech embodies the company's commitment to medical education as one of the core elements of its solution. The common goal of all members of Medutech team is simply turning good things into great ones. In other words, apart from professional expertise, it is always about providing customers with added-value benefits, bringing them enthusiasm, empathy and innovativeness.

Medical audiovisual system APOLLON

Apollon is a medical audiovisual system for complex capture and further processing of audiovisual data generated at operating theatres or any other hospital premises, where the staff are actively working with these data. The picture quality and mobile availability of the video provide hospitals and private clinics with a brand new educational dimension, applicable for the teaching of medical students, professional surgical conferences, consultation between doctors or the possibility of analysis and debriefing of various surgical performances.

Transmission of audiovisual data into target destinations, such as lecture halls, conference rooms or head surgeon offices, is secured via a hospital network, not only locally but also remotely between more hospital facilities. Audiovisual data transmission is carried out online in real-time and stored on a preferred type of storage in resolution up to 4K.

Apollon is a systém-independent and brand neutral solution, enabling transmission of video signal from any type of available interfaces and from equipment of any manufacturer. The data source can be endoscopic systems, surgical lights, microscopes, overview IP cameras, special camera systems or radiological devices. A User-friendly and simple touch-screen control interface is also a part of the system. Complex OR integration includes monitors and working stations equipped with a special application for signal routing, multi-channel streaming, control of various devices and postprocessing of the collected data, such as editing and cutting of video sections, classification tools, annotations or integration with hospital information systems. Apollon video management allows for fully built-in in-wall equipment, meeting the highest hygiene standards within clean room environment. This medical audiovisual solution is nicely complemented by the development and production of a series of external surgical cameras designed for capture of operating field with high contrast lighting scenes.
