CHITOSAN COSMETIC MASK - Regenerating facial mask with bioactive chitosan
A unique dry facial mask that provides complete regeneration and deep skin care. This mask harnesses the effects of biopolymer chitosan, which is processed into a complex of natural soluble nanofibres thanks to patented manufacturing technology.Because of its structure, chitosan is quickly absorbed into the skin and provides a deep hydration, regeneration and softening effect within seconds after activating the mask.
The mask is suitable for all skin types and age ranges. This mask contains no microplastics thanks to the production technology used. The mask is fully bio-degradable; that is, it can be composted as bio-waste. The product packaging is fully recyclable. WHAT IS CHITOSAN? WHY CHITOSAN?
Chitosan is a natural substance with unique effects on the health and appearance of the skin. Processing it into a nanofibrous structure brings revolutionary effects in skin care products and the skin in general.
- The main benefits of using chitosan in skin care are:
- effectively penetrates into the deeper structures of the skin, thus providing deep regeneration and hydration
- stabilises and strengthens the skin‘s natural microbiome, thus improving its resilience

Chitosan also enhances the effects of bioactive substances when used together with other creams or lotions on the skin, such as hyaluronic acid or vitamins. Chitosan has also been shown in studies to be a suitable prebiotic for dermal topical applications.
The nanofibre structure of chitosan helps to improve the penetration of substances into the dermis layer and allows immediate regeneration of the epidermis. This results in more effective hydration and enables faster skin regeneration. The chitosan fibres dissolve instantly when applied to wet skin, thus triggering the regeneration process of the epidermis.
The nanofibre structure ensures that the mask does not block the pores; on the contrary, it helps to cleanse the pores.
Water retention capacity of the upper layer of the epidermis is increased. This gives the skin a tighter appearance and reduces the visibility of wrinkles.
Objective biometric evaluation with repeated application of products with chitosan showed a gradual increase in firmness and hydration of the upper skin layer, while peeling and roughness of the skin decreased.
Chitosan significantly alleviates some signs of skin aging and improves the hydration of the upper skin layer and the barrier function of the skin. It regenerates superficial tissue damage, providing aftercare following injury or cosmetic procedures. It promotes skin cell renewal and accelerates regeneration by synergistically influencing pH and Ca ion penetration into the cytosol.
