Implants and instruments for orthopaedic surgeryand traumatology
ProSpon is a Czech company established in 1992. We are developing, manufacturing and distributing implants and instruments for orthopaedic surgery and traumatology. Since the company was established it focused on external fixators, currently supplies also implants and instruments for ACL reconstruction, spinal fixators, oncological replacements of all big joints and succesfull shoulder replacement Sosna. Most of the distributed products are manufactured by our company, moreover we are Czech distributor of companies Orthomed (France), Implantcast (Germany), Teknimed and JEIL Medical Corporation (Korea). Our products are saled in most Czech hospitals, both public and private. We have customers also in Slovakia, Russia, Baltic countries, in Greece, Turkey and France.
Company collaborates with many scientific organizations at the development (CVUT - Czech technical university Faculty of mechanical engineering, The first Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague) Manufacturing takes place mostly in our premises, we are equipped with both mechanical and CNC turning machines and milling machines and with EDM (wire cutting) machine. Our production department manufactures aside medical devices also custom made products following customers technical drawings.
